In 2012, Joseph founded a new company — Transmedia Entertainment — with the goal of producing creative IPs which spanned the digital spectrum from film & TV to web, apps & games.

Over time, developing new and dynamic technologies which empowered creativity became the driving force which pushed us forward as a company.

We thrived at the forefront of the creative technology scene, and over the years our drive for innovation pushed us from pro audio to mobile apps, BLE and IoT devices.

In 2016, Simon merged his company with Transmedia, returning to the fold as a full-time partner, and helped steer the company through its pivot into creating world first immersive VR experiences.

While we continued our proven legacy of innovating technology at a global pace, we increasingly looked back at the mission we began with: using technology to empower our own creative storytelling.

In 2020, we made the decision to return our focus to bringing our own creative and technology projects to life.

As part of this change, we have re-branded as Zenso.

Joseph & Simon are each established technology innovators, having jointly and individually created many world-first and award-winning products.

Joseph has over 35 years’ experience founding and managing creative technology businesses and creating visionary new products from the spark of an idea.

He has been a multi-award-winning pioneer in the professional audio digital revolution since the ’90’s, and to this day continues creating technology that empowers deep creative expression.

Simon has over 15 years’ experience creating natural, intuitive and creative digital experiences across web, apps, games and virtual + augmented reality.

He founded his own digital consultancy in 2014, has partnered with some wonderful companies + brands over the years, and has become a multi-award-winning developer in his own right.

Together, Joseph & Simon have led incredibly talented teams in the creation of dozens of projects, most notably among these the worlds’ first VR comic book, and most recently, an acoustic health monitoring system that allows musicians to perform with confidence.

We are taking our decades long legacy of making innovative and award-winning products & experiences and combining our passion for storytelling and empowering creative expression.

As our name implies, we have a deep appreciation for zen and wabi-sabi principles. In particular, the acceptance of transience and imperfection, while continuing to strive towards “closing the circle” with every revision of every idea we bring to life.

We carry this into our personal lives & into all our work, and we hope to impart this to others who experience what we create.

Our first pro audio app — DMeter — is available now on Windows and Mac.

Our first consumer app — Favourite Faces — is available now on iOS.

We are currently in the writing & design phases of several new creative game & media projects, which we hope to share with you soon.

We are also currently working on new pro audio technology which will empower people to be their best, and to allow them maximum creativity and expression.
